    Our Mission

    LAVA Charter School’s mission is to build confident, empathetic, critically thinking students through our connection with Lassen National Park. Our students will leave LAVA academically prepared for high school with an understanding of their potential in society. 
     
    LAVA’s practices will align with our commitment to rigorous standards based learning and our students’ social emotional needs. LAVA will continue to support and improve our connection to Lassen National Park while broadening student awareness of life beyond school.
